Getting Settled

We are working on settling into our new house. It has been quite the move. One thing after another, but I will spare you the details. Hopefully in the next week or two things we will be able to get things organized and feel a little more settled. One step at a time. I did manage to spend a day deep cleaning all the bathrooms from top to bottom. They were disgusting, but again I will spare you the details. It took me 6-7 hours to get it done and Katie was pretty good for the most part, but at one point she just wanted to be held and I had to be a mean mother and not take the time this particular day of cleaning. So, I didn't know what else to do for her to stop crying. Finally I put her in her swing and usually she will settle right down in her swing, but not this day. It took her awhile, but after 15 minutes she calmed down. After about 15 minutes of silence I checked on her. Usually she swings in it with her eyes open and looks around, but not this time. She was passed out cold. I had to take the time out to get the camera and take this picture. This is the first time I have seen her fall asleep like this. It was so cute and I'm glad I took the time to take it.

This picture was taken a different day. I was unpacking more things in the kitchen and walked around the island to find Katie like this. I was laughing so hard and she started laughing back. We both found it to be pretty funny. Sorry for the fact that she has no pants on in this picture. All her bottoms were in the washer at the time.
