New Calling
Well, as most of you know I have received a new calling. I was released from helping with playing the piano\leading music in relief society to becoming the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's. Let me just say we have very interesting girls in our ward. I have mixed emotions about my calling. It is not the group that I grew up with in my ward. These girls have a lot of issues and I'm worried about how I will relate with them with their trials. I guess I will just have to pray a lot to so I can be inspired to know how to help them and communicate with them. I never expected a calling like this at my age. I'm sure it is not unheard of, but all of sudden I feel very young and underqualified. Wish me luck. They haven't released me from being the chairman of the activities committee. They told me not to worry about the Halloween party. Flyers have to be out in 3 weeks and they released me and the only other active couple. They haven't called anyone new into the calling. I'm getting a little worried. I might have to help organize it and put it together after all. Ugh.

Kristen..you will do FANTASTIC! your so much fun and such a creative girl!! I'm sure those girls will love you!!! I'm sure your stressin' though about the previous calling and making sure someone continues all your hard work, but I'm sure it will be fine!..Doesn't it seem that when we just get comfortable with life, the Lord goes and switches things up?? Trust me....I feel for you!

She is learning how to really roll around to have some fun! She is such a cutie though.... You guys have got to put her in all the beauty pageants! I'd vote for her!!!
You will do great! I was younger than you when I had the beehives in CA and I actually thought it gave me an advantage to relate to the girls more. They will love you!! As far as the other calling, just let it go and don't stress, just focus on your new one! =)
You are going to be great at your YW calling! I know that they seem to be a challanging group, but that is why you have been called. The new presidency is a very STRONG group of ladies, you included. You all are going to turn the YW program around, and get it on the right track. You know that Heavenly Father wouldn't have you in this calling if it weren't the right place for you!
