Vacation Time!

On Wednesday, July 2nd, Chris and I packed up the truck and headed to Brigham City, Utah, to visit his family and also for my family reunion. We drove to Panguitch, Utah, where we stayed in a hotel that night. Katie was good the first 3 hours and a nightmare the last 3 hours. Then on top of that she didn't fall asleep until around 10 p.m. Then she woke up at 4 a.m. So, we decided to just pack up and go. So we arrived in Brigham around 10 a.m., earlier than expected, but we made it. It had been a long day and night. We made her take a nap and she was a gem after that. It is amazing what sleep will do for a child. We hung out Thursday and Friday, and then Friday night we watched the Brigham City Fireworks from our old friends BJ and Zoey's parent's house. It was so fun to see them and catch up with them. The best part was no traffic getting home after the fireworks!
